Program Outcomes (P.O.) : –
- Development of critical thinking skills by evaluating social, political and cultural arguments.
- Demonstrate sociological understanding of social structures, institutions, cultural practices etc.
- Effective written and oral communication.
- Ability to use classical or contemporary perspectives in social theory.
- Ability to use the major social science research methodologies. .

- Understand the basic principles of sociology and its relationship with other social & behavioral sciences.
- Understand social institutions like marriage, family, religion etc. & their role in society.
- Understand problems of society, like crime, child labour, family dysfunction etc.
- Understand social thought & social theories, the status of women, feminist theory, gender issues etc. .
