Housed in a building which can boast of an architecture that dates back to the pre-Independence era, and showcasing the incredible Indo-Islamic style, including an age-old underground tunnel and quaint winding staircases, Gokul Das Hindu Girls’ College is a sight to fathom with.
Created with the objective to provide quality higher education to girls, and dedicated to the cause since over half a century, the college is one of the foremost in the region. The alumni of this college continue to contribute significantly to various fields in society.

It is my firm belief that the key to women empowerment and the elimination of gender discrimination lies in education . An educated girl is a powerhouse who leads both herself and her country forward confidently . At Gokul Das Hindu Girls’ College, we leave no stone unturned to offer multitudes of opportunities which enable students to thrive in academics , and also to motivate character building. The implementation of the National Education Policy 2020, and the induction of co-curricular activities like Rangers,N.S.S., Computer Application, to name only a few, all boost our efforts to urge the students to grasp every opportunity which would make them educated individuals, as also render a holistic growth to keep abreast with today’s fast-paced world.

The intrinsic value of an institution lies in its knowledge-givers. The college can proudly say that a team of devoted and erudite faculty members strives continuously to raise the bar of teaching and research work. Our college community vows to move forward together with confidence, pride, enthusiasm and determination to fulfil newer goals in the future. It is my foremost aim to bring about a holistic upliftment of the college and I intend to relentlessly work towards it.
